hi guys while i was surfing around on some of the u.s clans websites looking for new maps and things i noticed most of there servers are running something called 'serverfacade'
this allows people with et version 2.55 2.56 2.60 2.60b to connect to the server no matter what version the server is running ( aslong as it has server facade)
I really want to test this as theyre running like 75 slot server which are 3/4 full when i was looking
so i sent hypernia a ticket explaining what it does rah rah a link to serverfacades website, i explained to them that if they installed this that 1, it would create more traffic to our servers which 2 in time means we would eventually upgrade the slots 3, more money in hypernias pocket..
nope they didnt want a bar to do with it lol which sucks big time, wouldnt even test it for me , here is what they have to say lol

This isnt something we would support. This would be considered a untrusted EXE file and we don't put those on our machines.

So after all that ranting and raving i need a host that will install this? i've emailed game servers and a few aussie hosts just awaiting a reply
because if this IS possible we really dont need the two 2.55 servers...not if anyone from any version can connect, really wed just need our clan server (server 1)
and server 2 running server facade
anyway this is a while down the track before i attempt this thought i'd just share my bitch session with you guys:)
